One of the main aims of this web site is to keep the history of the Aberlady village alive, and we need you to help us achieve this aim. We are always looking for photographs, documents and of course your memories. A small list of subjecs to jog your memory are listed at the bottom of this post.

It may be that you had a significant part in village life - as a teacher at the primary school or church, as Gala Queen or Consort, a shopkeeper or delivery person to the village or belonged to one of the many clubs, etc. listed below. Whatever your place in village life, we will welcome your memories. Even just living in the village will have given you much to relate to us. If you live locally any images will be copied and the originals returned within two or three hours.
